Springfield area Planeteers I would like your input please
 

We are getting ready to have some carpet and laminate flooring installed, and I am curious about reputation of a couple local stores.

I prefer to do business with local businesses, so the two I have talked to are

The Carpet Shoppe and Bearden Carpet.

Have any of you done business with these people, or know of their reputation?

I know the crew that installs for home depot. They do a great job, and speak english (they're mexican).

My wife worked at the Carpet Shoppe some years back and before that she worked for a carpet distributer for 13 years. Out of all the places I've had carpet installed from I'd say the Carpet Soppe is the best. I think the best flooring installer might be a guy named Dos. I can't remeber if he was all hardwood or that and carpet too though.
