DNSChanger Virus Safety Net Going Down 07/09/12

Apparently a virus (DNSChanger) was foiled last year, and the FBI erected a "safety net" of servers to help with the fix. They were designed to redirect anyone infected away from scam sites. The servers go down July 9th of this year.

Bet a bunch of people had no clue about this. I already know that Monday is going to be absolute hell at work as I do ISP tech support.

Uh...yeah...the FBI has set up a system of servers that currently provide a workaround. A "safety net" so to speak. That safety net goes down 07/09/12. So you could be infected right now and not know, then suddenly be unable to connect to the internet on Monday. RIF, check the OP.
