NEVER go with METRO PCS
 
I just want to rant. This is far and away the worst business I have ever given any money to (consistently). I hope this company goes bankrupt soon, because they deserve it. Sure it's cheaper and there is no contracts, that's their main selling point and it's a good concept. But, the android I paid $400 for, doesn't ever work, can't connect to wifi. I get 0-1 bars at my house which pretty much in the city, so I'm not rural. Can't even send a damn email.

But forget about that, here's the thing that gets me. There is absolutely no way that I can avoid paying a fee to pay my bill.

When I first signed up, I had to call to set up automatic withdrawals. Never had a problem until I had to replace my card. Now I call them to set up automatic withdrawals, they tell me I have to go to the website now to do it. But here is the thing, I can't log into the website. I forgot my username and password, no big deal I just select send that info to my phone via text. Well, it's wrong. Every time.

Another thing is, if I call to pay the bill over the phone, I don't talk to a human being. I am dealing with the annoying automated voice lady and I have to pay a fee for bothering her. Paying the bill over the phone does not involve another human being and there is still a fee for it.

Driving down to the store. That time I had to replace my debit card was super annoying because at that time all I had was a check, the bank messed up and took almost a month to get a new card. So I went in there on the day my bill was due, nope can't pay by check. Of course it was a Saturday, so they shut my phone off as soon as time expired. So I go Sunday without a phone, whatever. I go back in there with cash after I walk into the bank to get it, I'm greeted by a gang banger wearing a flat billed cap giving me dirty looks. The fee for bothering them in store is even more than for bothering the automated voice lady.

So I finally left them. I have no cell phone, just a $10 per month lan line and I FEEL GREAT!


So, if you ever find yourself considering a new cell phone provider. Please FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!! Do not choose Metro PCS or you WILL regret it.

At least there wasn't a contract so I could easily opt out. But I want that business to go bankrupt so I'm spreading the word!
