Might be worse if that's possible. I think they said last night that the 9 hole has the highest cumulative batting average this year. A good indicator of how much Ned knows about fielding a lineup

Yost is in the process of being Royalsified.

He's often about two batter too late to go to the pen. Perhaps largely because the starters average about 4 innings, so he's loath to put even greater stress on an already taxed bullpen. However, once he uses them, he shown an ability to manage the pen relatively well.

Offensively, he shows too many National League flashes (read: archaic baseball moves).

He's much better than Hillman, but KC might well be the death of dear old Ned.
