Caught on Camera: Boyfriend of Hills Star Stephanie Pratt Tackled by NYPD Officer After Running Over His Foot
Neetzan Zimmerman

Damian Mory of Queens says he just happened to be in the right place at the right time to film 28-year-old Julien Chabbott run over a NYPD officer's foot while trying to avoid being ticketed outside the Mercer Hotel in SoHo.

Chabbott, co-creator of the popular smartphone app Line Snob and significant other of Hills cast member Stephanie Pratt (who can be seen in the video), reportedly parked his Ferrari 458 Spider in the hotel's valet zone and was in the process of being ticketed by Officer Felix Recio when he decided to make a hasty getaway.

He ignored Officer Recio's order not to get in his car, choosing instead to run over the cop's foot.

He was subsequently arrested and charged with felony assault, vehicular assault, obstructing governmental administration, and disorderly conduct.

Officer Recio was treated for his injuries and released, but remains off duty.

Shoulda made a pretzel outta that silver spoon.

Munson 08-06-2012 04:54 PM

Too bad they didn't impound his Ferrari.

The guy was a punk for sure, but does anyone else have an issue with the fact that something/anything can't happen anywhere without having some douche whipping out their cell phones hoping to "catch something". I mean in this video alone there's the guy filming it and then there's another guy in the video filming it as well.....

Perhaps the cop shouldn't have stuck his ****ing foot under the car then.

I don't get what the big deal is? 1) There is zero expectation of privacy and 2) they probably had a confrontation prior to the filming and 3) video taping will help keep both the parties accountable and likely de-escalate most situations.

That's what I was thinking. Cops in general best be careful not to abuse power anymore because chances are someone's getting it on video.

This was my first thought.

He had the vehicle information and an id on the operator. Putting his foot in front of the tire only escalated the situation and put himself in a position to lose control of the situation while being in harms way. After telling him to stay put I assume they could have slapped him with whatever their local system calls resisting law enforcement on top of the parking ticket.

I hope all the charges stick to the douche.

The point is that there is ALWAYS some dumbass filming everything, appropriate or not and it's annoying. A lot of times it would simply be better if people would just mind their own ****ing business.

Dayze 08-06-2012 09:31 PM

Be cool if the cop beat the shit out of his car with a baton. "ooops"

Frazod 08-06-2012 09:39 PM

It takes a lot to get me to side with a ticket-writing cop, but this entitled little one who sucks the penis's got what it takes. Somebody driving a car like that is going to get stupid over a parking ticket? Jesus. I hope he got beat worse later.

He was probably just trying to film the car when it all started. He kept rolling and now we get to enjoy this video. :)
