Porcupine vs Dog
 

So, who's had a porcupine vs dog encounter? I've been trying to snip these barbed little bastards off at the tips and pull them out backwards with about 3 pulls of success and 50 more to go.

75lb German Sheppard's aren't easy to keep still and they don't corroborate well in this situation.

Think I'm off to the vet, any advice.

I don't envy your situation, ya i would let a vet handle it.

Yeh, just can't get the bastard to sit still and the worst part is he doesn't even know they are there. Hell I could Leave them in for all he knows.

My buddy is a big dude that's a bouncer (think 300lb) I may try to get to hold ol Windsor down but don't know if that will even work.

I don't think you need your dog's corroboration..... sounds like a pretty open and shut case.
