Text Message SCAM??
 

So I just got this text, spell it out exactly

18889590609@attention.com
[BULK] Your Credit Union
debit card has been flagged
Call 1-888-959-0609 and follow
steps to re-activate your card


that's the text I just got, I don't have any credit union debit card, this has to be some sort of scam. I haven't seen this one yet.

Seems legit.

It's real, man. You'd better call right away!

Be sure to give them your social security number so they can verify that it's you.

I'd call just to be safe.

PM all your bank information to Bob Dole, just to be safe.

Gotta keep security in mind, though, by sending separate small bits of the info. 25 or 30 PM's ought to be sufficient.

Also they require your kids schooling address. That's just for precautionary reasons

If I ever get a strange call or text, I google the # and 9/10 it comes back as being a known scam/bs.

I don't know why, but I always feel the need to just call on stuff like this out of curiosity. I'd never give them any info, but it's always fun to call just to **** with them.

Yeah, you could go something like a heavy breathing and if a woman answers it, that's a added bonus and you can talk dirty to her.

You know, if everyone did this, these scams would become completely unprofitable and would disappear completely. Or the scammers would sharpen their focus on the most vulnerable.
