If Brady starts on Sunday in Tampa Bay for his first start as a Chief, it will be in the same city as the first start from our last starting quarterback that came from Notre Dame. Montana's first start with the Chiefs was in Tampa Bay as well.

Delightfully useless.

I remember that game. It was a game of optimism and hope, just like next week.

Another fun fact about that game in 1993 in Tampa, it featured the last two Chief quarterbacks with playoff wins. Montana for the Chiefs and DeBerg started for Tampa Bay.

Here's another useful fact: THE CHIEFS NEVER WIN IN FLORIDA.

Except they did that day. They beat Tampa 27-3.

More trivia...

This will be the first time the Chiefs have had a first round QB start a game since September of 1987 when Blackledge last started for the Chiefs. 25 years... that's just sad.
