I just called DirecTV to complain about their rates. They were charging $105/month for a decent package but that's WAY too much.

I now have a shit-load of channels PLUS Sunday Ticket for $68/month for a year.

Call if you have DTV... it's worth it.

Got the ticket and 60/month off by calling last week.

There is something going on. I don't know what it is, but a huge channel package... plus NFL "everything" says something.

they want to lock people in long term to keep them from going to Google fiber optic t.v.

I was thinking about swapping. COX Comm is just so fricken expensive. I've got the basic cable with HD, a phone with no long distance (basic package) and my high speed Internet which is also basic and I'm paying around 180 a month. I'm thinking direct TV and Century Link. According to my price check, I'd save 30 a month if I did so.
