While true, the fact is, that team has done a piss poor job of drafting through the years, and have not been able to replace the players on defense that helped them win SBs that were there before the Bellichick regime took over.

The whole idea that Bellichick is some kind of genius and draft guru is a myth.

He had high draft picks when he first showed up that he didn't **** up, talent on hand that he simply had to get on the same page, and the sheer dumb luck of Tom Brady, who he would not have drafted if Dick Rebhorn hadn't practically moutinied if they passed on him for Tim Rattay.

errr...let's see....happily married, gainfully employed, two good kids, got to watch all four hometown sports teams win a championship within the last ten years......which gives me the luxury of not being obsessed and bitter about my sports teams. Sure I'd love to be a pig and win a few more but you know what winning (and losing) championships does? It makes you realize that whether they win or lose it makes no real change in your life. It's not like winning a zillion dollars in the lottery or something. Win or lose I had to go back to work the next day. Win or lose I still had my happy domestic life.

So, actually, I'm pretty happy with my life. Sorry to disappoint you. :shrug:
