Need a new CPU fan....

Had a cooler master. Started making an awful grinding noise today and just died out on me.

I'm not looking to break the bank, just something to keep the air flowing in the unit.

Is there a particular one anyone could recommend? I had a cooler master that died out on me.

Thanks in advance.

I have used Zalman for a long time - they work well even on suicide over clocks so they'd be beyond great for a normal PC.

Something like this:

I use this bad boy - Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus

What kind of processor do you have?

AMD Phenom II X2 555 3.2 GHZ

AM3 socket? You'd be good with the Hyper 212.

Go to newegg, choose your socket/cpu type, find your price range, then read reviews

Check Tiger Direct below. They have great deals on computer parts.

Thanks everyone. The fan kicked on while I was inspecting something in the case and my finger took the brunt of it.
