Or a more logical reason would be so people don't put it off til the last minute and not do it. There's a reason why the GOP fought like hell on early voting and that is because it affects turnout.

Or a giant libya scandal that you have a brewing.

LOCOChief 10-25-2012 07:03 PM

yep. NBC, ABC and CBS are reporting why cats and dogs yawn, about a UK pedophile and Powells Obama endorsement. The main stream media won't be able to hide this much longer though and neither will Obama.

True, is there a greater emphasis on the D's now with the Libya fallout ?:hmmm:

One has to wonder, if this thing breaks, Obama is down for the count unless alot of early voting gets in.

Reason either side wants early voting, late breaking surprises, etc.

KChiefer 10-25-2012 07:31 PM

Gee, I wonder if they has ever been problems with massive lines on voting day in highly populated areas that cause voters to just leave before casting their ballot.?.?

Donger 10-25-2012 07:32 PM

I really don't think that early voting is a partisan issue. It's a logical issue.

I've already voted.

mlyonsd 10-25-2012 07:34 PM

The local democratically controlled county recorder moved my polling place 10 miles away from my house so I intend on voting early at the court house...that I pass by every day.

Did ROYC75 learn how to post in "Jeopardy" form from FoxNews? :hmmm:

King_Chief_Fan 10-26-2012 09:24 AM

the voting machines are still out of whack, they want people to vote before they get fixed.

It's really about the unreliable voters. People who, if they wait until the last minute, might not vote at all (because it's raining, because they forgot, because they scored a bag of weed and already have enough Funyuns so they don't really need to go out, or just because the lines are a bit long so **** it). If the campaigns can get these people locked in, they don't have to worry about it.
