What do you spend your money on hobby wise?

I was thinking about this today. A buddy of mine has a youtube channel and he is constantly buying shoes for his "collection", and all I think about is how much money he spends on things he wont even wear. I am a big fan of some of the Nike SB shoes, but I wouldn't spend the money on them, I only have 4 pairs of shoes currently. I have another friend who spends all his money on his gun collection. He has spent over $1200 customizing an AR-15, its a sick gun, but that's quite a bit of dough.

I got to thinking about what I spend my money on (fun wise) and I really don't have anything. I like to fish, but I don't spend more than $50 bucks a season on supplies. I am into old cars, but I havent spent any money on them recently (still havent got my Cutlass back). I have some guns, and I like to shoot for fun, but I probably only do that once a year. The majority of my money goes to bills and school.

You guys have any hobbies you spend a lot of money on. I wouldn't be opposed to dropping some coin on something I loved, but I don't really have a hobby I love. I know someone on here is into shoes (I think Reaper), but I can't remember. I know some guys are into cars.

If you do spend some coin and want to talk about new purchases or anything post it up. I need to buy some tires for my 63 Buick, but I will do that in the spring. I would love to get an AR-15, but will never spend the money.

*I will say however that I have spent some money buying up books on self-sufficient living/homesteading/small farming. I love the idea of having land and being as close to fully self-sufficient as I can. I am stocking some money away for a house and some land in the near future.

Fly fishing is a beautiful thing. What kind of car do you have? IIRC it's a Saab or Volvo.

I do running races. The races typically run me $60 to $90 per month, and then I spend maybe $300 a year on shoes and shorts and stuff. The big-ticket items are a couple of trips a year for races in other states (maybe $600 each on average), some hotel nights for races within driving distance (another $500 per year), and this year I bought a GPS watch for about $250.

So I guess overall it costs me about $3,000 a year. Man, you just got me depressed. However, the travel stuff is fun and the out of state running is almost an excuse for the travel instead of the other way around.

Guns. Upgraded gun components. And more guns. And the occasional new video game.

I picked up a golf cart from a course that was closing and am going to completely tear it apart and do a rebuild on it over the next couple of months. I'm thinking of making it Chiefs red with a couple of Arrowheads on the sides and the retired Chiefs numbers on it and such but that's about it. I probably won't have but $2k in it when all is said and done, I don't have a whole lot of hobbies.

I buy used FEMA trailers, refurbish them, and sell 'em back to the FEDS at an ENORMOUS profit.
