Three things I learned in our local elections.
 

1. I live in one of the few houses in Denver that doesn't reek of marijuana smoke.

2. Denver voters will approve any tax that is offered to them. They would approve a tax on kindness where the money goes to the Taliban.

3. Adams County, Colorado, voters are the dumbest people ever. Those people are like chimpanzees with "I voted" stickers. Whenever you watch reality TV shows that are so dumb they make you mad, recognize that they were made for Adams County voters. Whenever you see buckets with warning labels that say, "don't immerse your head in this if it's full of water", it was done to protect Adams County voters. If you pretend to throw a stick and hide it behind your back, Adams County voters will run across the yard chasing it. Seriously, these are the stupidest people on Earth.

Well, I'm off to start up a marijuana store that will undoubtedly be subsidized eventually by a tax on non-use of marijuana. I might start it up in Adams County where I can overcharge everyone since they don't know how to count their change.

I'm curious why you are so harsh on Adams county?

I've dealt with them personally, and the people in power there are astoundingly corrupt. I've seen it firsthand and in person so this is not hearsay, and it was so bad that I got involved with some good people who were committed to coming in and fixing it. They lost by a mile to the good ol' boys who run the place, and it ticks me off. Adams County voters are apparently just fine with rigged bids, tax breaks for campaign contributors, coverups, and other criminal acts.

That place just chafes me. If they were just screwing themselves it'd be one thing, but the state and the feds pump money into the place since it's 'poor' and it just flows right out the door to the buddies and cronies of the staff. I have personally seen it happen.

Ah, Yes I have heard interesting and eyebrow raising things about the S.O.

Perhaps you can have marriage ceremony's there?
