How can the Left media get away with crap like this?

Perhaps it’s time to change MSNBC to MSRBC, with the “R” standing for race. The far-left network has reached a point where every issue is about race no matter what host is ranting. The latest example of this comes from perennial race-baiting anchor Touré who on Nov. 26 attacked Sens. John McCain and Lindsey Graham as “old, white, establishment folks.”

Toure, the Boston bred, prep school educated Milton Academy graduate, who appears to have ditched his last name to gain street cred, is co-host of the cable channel's "The Cycle."

In Touré’s black-and-white world, McCain is a “bitter” failed candidate who has no right to dare question potential Secretary of State candidate Susan Rice because she is a “much younger black woman.” He also claimed McCain was on a "witchhunt" and "tarring" Rice, another unsubtle code word.

What would happen if a white person said this about a black guy?

HonestChieffan 11-27-2012 01:47 PM

The guy is a hack

alpha_omega 11-27-2012 01:49 PM

What does the Congressional Black Caucus have to say?

HonestChieffan 11-27-2012 02:03 PM

Consider his audience. Pretty easy to fool on any given day

Direckshun 11-27-2012 02:04 PM

Probably the same way the right media gets away with it.

Just like Hannity's audience who, thanks to him last night, all believe that J.P. Morgan was a great man that brought us all electricity by taking the risk for everyone and investing in Edison. The audience won't realize Edison and Morgan failed and that Morgan bullied his way to acquiring Tesla's version of electricity which is the one we are using right now, not Edison's. He was using this argument to say how Morgan was a good capitalist but Warren Buffet was a bad one. It's a shame Hannity was wrong though.

They get away with it because they are as racist as he is, just in the opposite direction. Racist guilt

blaise 11-27-2012 02:27 PM

Didn't MSNBC ditch Pat Buchanan for supposed racially divisive language?

How many 70+ year old black men serve in Congress?

Definitely but that's besides the point I was making. Both groups have audiences that are easily fooled and eat up whatever is said. Was just adding to what HonestChief said.

What I got of viewing this is that the attack by McCain was based is purported upon a notion that McCain loses his Chairmanship in the new session and was looking for a special committee to chair about the Libyan incident so he could remain relevant. Yes the statement quoted here was made but real late in the argument giving lip service to the notion that McCain was making the attack along racial lines, maybe. The whole of the argument was that it was to maintain relevancy in the next session.

Few people have any grasp of history on both sides.

Wow! Every issue covered by every host is about race? Is that actually a fact? I'm wondering if that's maybe an exaggeration....
