Deep Purple vs Lil Wayne
 

We have this douche nozzle 23 year old at work who thinks listening to crap like Lil Wayne makes him the shit. I was listening to Pandora in my workspace and Deep Purple 'Highway Star' was on. Great song. The dude walked through and was like "What the **** is this garbage?" There isn't a facepalm picture good enough for how I felt.

Precisely. Not only that, but my band decided that Deep Purple was better than Shallow Purple. So eat that "Lil Wayne".

Music is subjective and everyone has their own tastes. That being said, for him to say DP is garbage is ridiculous. That would have been the time for you to educate the young man on what real music is. Not just some idiot talking over a drum machine and sampler. :D

Deep Purple is kind of overrated.
