My company just put a quota on our sales per quarter to maintain health insurance...The Obama care ripple effect is just beginning...

hotair.com. How appropriate--as if rates wouldn't go up anyway, as they have been for the last 40 yrs

This is a direct cost attributable to Obamacare. Meanwhile, as you point out, Obamacare continues to fail to keep other health care costs from going up, up, up. Double fail.

A small price to pay to ensure the sick get the care that they need.

CoMoChief 12-12-2012 08:51 AM

mine went up $23

Duck Dog 12-12-2012 08:55 AM

The $63 goes to a special account managed by the government. You know, just like SS. That system has worked out great.

Mine went up $700 last year with cuts in coverage....more coming.

jiveturkey 12-12-2012 09:33 AM

Mine went up $120/year, which is less than the increases in the 3 previous years.

Don't the sick end up paying more too? The only difference now is they're forced to pay for it?

But don’t worry. It’s temporary. The fee starts at $63 in 2014 and it gets lower every year until it’s phased out in 2017
Wow $5 a month for a year then $4 then nothing. Scary stuff, may have to give up a yogurt a month. Damn.

You can't include the mental health pro-rations due to overuse in your equations. Sorry.
