Gun Rights Activists Start Petition To Have Piers Morgan Deported
 

Embarrassing. Deport someone over their political views while claiming he is threatening the Constitution of the United States?

I guess only idiots are entitled to First Amendment protection...



LONDON (AP) — Tens of thousands of people have signed a petition calling for British CNN host Piers Morgan to be deported from the U.S. over his gun control views.

Morgan has taken an aggressive stand for tighter U.S. gun laws in the wake of the Newtown, Connecticut, school shooting. Last week, he called a gun advocate appearing on his "Piers Morgan Tonight" show an "unbelievably stupid man."

Now, gun rights activists are fighting back. A petition created Dec. 21 on the White House e-petition website by a user in Texas accuses Morgan of engaging in a "hostile attack against the U.S. Constitution" by targeting the Second Amendment. It demands he be deported immediately for "exploiting his position as a national network television host to stage attacks against the rights of American citizens."

The petition has already hit the 25,000 signature threshold to get a White House response. By Monday, it had 31,813 signatures.

Morgan seemed unfazed — and even amused — by the movement.

In a series of Twitter messages, he alternately urged his followers to sign the petition and in response to one article about the petition said "bring it on" as he appeared to track the petition's progress.

"If I do get deported from America for wanting fewer gun murders, are there any other countries that will have me?" he wrote.

I am in support of Gun Rights and that is just asinine. The problem is far outliers of each party take it WAY to far. At least pretend to be sane.

It's just an ar15.com firemission, it's more of a fu to all the people starting petitions on that site.
We're also trying to get the nbc guy arrested for possessing a 30rd mag in dc when he was on air in support of a magazine ban.
The gun community can come together when we need to.

Said this in the other thread....there have been supreme court cases back in the 70's according to the Wall St journal where communist journalists would call for Americans giving up their rights and they would be kicked out of here.

This is a sissy loud mouthed Brit, that runs around w/ 2 or 3 ARMED bodyguards...but wants the rest of us to give up our guns....unbelievable.

I'm sure there are plenty of other perfectly valid reasons to deport Piers Morgan.

Piers is a GUEST here. He just crapped on the rug. He can go home now and bask in all the gun control glory his HOME country has to offer and make all the snarky comments he wants about America from over there. He's gonna have to get on air at some ****ed up hours to hold that American prime time slot.
