Jamal Charles off the field
 

Anyone know anything interesting about Jamal Charles outside of football? I have a buddy who's in production and they've been doing a series on cool things players do outside of football.

For example, they did this one on Steve Smith about a charity he works with that gives shoes to homeless people and cleans their feet:

Anyway, Jamal Charles wants to be in their final slot of the show and they need a story. Anyone ideas?

As much as i LOVE the player, i really dont know much about him as a man.

Thats what Babb used to be so good at, he'd do those human interest, man behind the helmet pieces that really helped me connect with a given player.

if Jamal wants to be a part of it, doesn't HE have a story he can share?

Pioli handcuffed the players too much. Under Peterson we would have known lots about Charles.

That's not really how these things work. I also think there are several players under consideration and Jamal's people have agreed and/or want Jamal featured. The production staff find the story and generate the piece.

Heard rumors that Belcher's gf told Jovan that the kid was Jamaal's and that Jovan came to the stadium to get JC.

Don't know if it's true...probably isn't...but it's interesting.

I heard that Jamaal likes music, food, and TV. Maybe there's a story there.

How about how he deals with being a top 5 rb yet he gets no coverage from mainstream media :(

I have a few buddies big in the KC music scene. Strange Music affiliation etc. JC loves night clubs and DJing...his DJ equipment isn't what you'd imagine from a man worth $50mil but he spins records and knows a lot about music.

Also on an episode of Sound FX on NFL Network Cam Newton was asked by Steve Smith "I aint asked you all season but do you think I could get your cleats?" so I guess it's for this charity/sister charity?

He likes long walks on the beach, rainy days, and movies from the silent era.
