HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -

Police are investigating the death of a Harrisburg man who was found seriously injured in his bed on the 1500 block of Vernon Street in Harrisburg this morning.

This is Harrisburg's second homicide in this week.

Police say they responded to the 1500 block of Vernon Street at 11:25 a.m. after receiving a call that two men were fighting with hammers.

Inside they found a 55-year-old man on the floor with stab wounds to his back. In a second floor bedroom they found 60-year-old Jose Vazquezmassive who was suffering from massive head trauma and injures.

We need to do something about the culture of handymanism.

Which poses the question:

Would you turn in your hammers?

:hmmm:

It is permeating our culture. It's spreading world wide.

The Less Lamp is probably one of the only lamps in the world that needs to be broken to actually work. To get the lamp to work, individuals must smash it with a pick-hammer that comes included with the lamp. The pick allows light to shine through the lamp. A person can continue picking at the lamp with the hammer based on the amount of light they need.

The lamp itself is solid and egg shaped and does not work until a person begins to shatter small holes into its surface (which is made of plaster). The Less Lamp is an innovative design concept that must be “broken” to release the light within. Users have control over the amount of light the lamp emits and also have control over the appearance of the lamp because they can poke the holes wherever they wish.
The Less Lamp retails for almost $900 and is made in Spain.

I think the hammers should turn themselves in, they're deadly weapons!

Surely you see the downside to using that? Someone could just have a bad day or experience some wood rage and kill someone with it simply flying off the handle all half cocked.

Yes. We should leave hammers in the hands of the professionals. What do you need one of these for?

Don't even get me started on Drills and how they could be made to fire full auto assault drill. Back in the old days they didn't need Hammers or drills they did everything with their bare hands.
