Guess the Charges
IMPORTANT: Click on your choice in Section A BEFORE reading the spoiler, then click on your choice in Section B AFTER reading the spoiler

Four men are in a room, one dies. The three remaining men all tell the same story about the death, which implicates none of them. The coroner determines that their story is not possible, and also rules the death a homicide.

What's the difference between Section A and B for the purposes of polling?!

I see. I get it now. I usually skip over bolded text to soothe my contrarianist streak.

Well, that was fun.

What do you do? In first year torts, you read an important case Summers v. Tice, about two shooters, at least one but maybe both, hit a third hunter.

Maybe charge them all, and let them duke it out in trials as to who convincingly proves their innocence? Yes, that would be fine even one or two were definitely innocent, perhaps. Since cops have a heightened duty to protect, just charge them all.

No evidence to convict in scenario A, scenario B has enough, all officers are guilty of murder. Us vs Them and what not, seems to be the way the police officers in this country want to play the game nowadays.

I like games like this.

Here is a riddle, read it then type in your answer first then look at spoiler.

What's black when you get it, red when you use it, and white when you're all through with it?

No cheating!

What gets bigger the more you take away from it?
