250 rounds fired at Boat suspect

So I heard this morning on the radio that when the Police were firing at the bomber in the boat, there were 250 rounds fired.

250? For one guy???

But you, you only need 7 yourself.

BigChiefTablet 04-22-2013 09:34 AM

And he's not even dead.

I guess I am going to have to rethink some things. Maybe Homeland security really does need millions of rounds to practice with.

I thought they wanted him alive? I heard they eventually stunned him.

I heard there was like 250 rounds fired during the firefight with the dead brother, but not at the boat.

Heard 200-300 rounds fired during the overnight battle in Watertown with both brothers, though nothing about how many from the cops versus from the brothers.

Heard 20-30, not 200, rounds exchanged when the brother was in the boat, plus at least one flash-bang grenade.

"You ever see tape of the Kehoe brothers from Ohio, those two guys that get out of that white Suburban, it's been on COPS a few times? Those guys, folks, have a shootout with the police, at point...blank...range—nobody gets hurt. I would love to have been at that office the next day when that guy's being interviewed by the police. "And then what happened?" "Well, at that point, I unloaded my semi-automatic 9 millimeter weapon at point blank range." "And then what happened?" "They...left." Nice shooting, Elmer Fudd. There was a kid in Detroit a few years ago, shot 8 bullets, hit 9 people. These cops fired 22 shots, didn't even hit the ****in' Suburban!"

Perhaps they had it mixed up. That still kinda shows that 7 rounds may not be enough for someone to protect themselves.

Right, because this citywide manhunt for a mass murderer is a good judge of what every citizen ought to be able to wield.

WTF does that have to do with shooting at 1 guy? 20-30 rounds fired and he isn't dead. But yeah, ok, 7 rounds should be enough for anyone.

Well, he said rounds exchanged. The bomber shot. I don't know that anyone knows for a fact how many rounds the cops shot at the boat, or if they even did do they?
