Jason Cole expects Chiefs to trade Albert for pick in '14
Branden Albert - T - Chiefs
Yahoo Sports' Jason Cole expects the Chiefs to end up trading Branden Albert for a second-round pick in 2014. Cole mentions the Lions, Chargers, and Cardinals as teams that remain left tackle-needy after the draft and might be interested in Albert. The Lions would make a lot of sense because internally they have major questions about Riley Reiff's viability at tackle and prefer him at guard. The Dolphins could also jump back into the bidding. Although the Albert-to-Miami draft-week trade fell through, the sides had agreed to parameters of a long-term contract. Related: Lions, Dolphins, Chargers, Cardinals |
Seriously? No... seriously?

Wouldn't be surprised that this happens. Don't see Albert staying put
|
told you they werent going to put up with him sitting out all training camp and showing up right before week 1
and having Fisher take all the reps at LT in training camp only to have Albert expect to play when he shows up or hog up 9 million on the bench. He's wasting cap space at this point |
At this point, unless it's something crazy like a 1st or multiple early picks, just keep him.
|
Make the trade with detroit. They will be picking top 5 again.....
|
Oh well. Do it soon. 9 mil is a lot of cheddar to free up.
|
I hope IF we trade him, the Dolphins guy gets hurt so Ireland is an idiot and gives up next years first.

He's not going to ride the pine. JFC, he's gonna get near 10 million dollars. He's gonna play wherever they tell him.
We heard he was ready to report to recent workouts but was told not to as a trade was being worked out. |
he wants a fat payday at LT
LG, C, RG, RT where ever else he loses A LOT of money so yes, he will put up a fight/become a cancer if he doesnt get his way at LT. Havent you heard this guy in interviews or on twitter the last couple months? because that's what all the signs point to. He just wants his. |
