I love that dude. He's hilarious to boot/quick witted.

Stephen Colbert once asked him to answer the question "why is there something, instead of nothing" in 10 words or less, as a joke.

Tyson, right on the spot, pausing between words to make sure he hit the 10-word mark:

"Words that make questions, may not be questions at all."

Thanks for sharing. Tyson is so inspiring to listen to.

His voice, delivery and his message is very compelling. At least for me.

I like him, and that white haird japanese guy. I like how they can explain things very well

Brian Cox isn't bad either though he's usually too fundamental and simple in his approach.

I'm a big fan of his.

People could learn a thing or two from that man.

Is that the guy on "Wonders of the Universe"?


I stopped watching that show after I realized they show the Earth 90% of the time even though the it is supposed to be about "Wonders of the Universe".

The sad thing is that I watch EVERYTHING that is about space and physics except that show.

he looks a lot like my "physiolog" professor in college. Long white hair and everything, Asian.

He was torture to listen to. He never pronounced 'y's'

so everything was physiolog or anatom

he often used words that were supposed to end in Y, so it became quite annoying listening to him. One of the few B's I got in college and I never could understand a word he said, I just read the book and got a B.

If we could somehow shake up the "Faux democracy" 2 party political election system, and elect Dr. Tyson as president... Then actually elect intelligent people like scientists and engineers to run this country.. Shit would get fixed pronto.

That's a damn sad truth...

It would be excellent at the beginning, but I fear for the ultimate outcome.


"Gattaca" comes to mind.

I'd be in 300% on this party.
