Marvin Allen is the new Director of College Scouting
 

Looks like Atlanta Falcons national scout Marvin Allen will be the Director of College Scouting. Taking over for Phil Emery's position and will work under John Dorsey and Chris Ballard.

Of the two finalists, this is the guy I wanted. On paper, this team looks to be heading in the right direction.

I admit I really like this hire. I would've liked Morrow as well from what I have read but Allen seems to someone that may mesh very well with our current scouts. Most of his time has been in either New England or Atlanta... very similar scouting systems.

Let's just talk about the complete idiocy and douche baggery of Pioli, that he went an entire ****ing year without a College Scouting Director. Unbe-****ing-lievable

The Falcons moved up like 20 spots to take Julio a few years back. Takes some serious balls to pull something like that off. I like that he was involved in that to some extent.

Gives me hope.
