LG service repair turnover.

So my tv shits out a few weeks back. My woman calls lg service and they dispatch the call blah blah. Guy shows up in a mini van says he has to take the tv in to run tests and order parts blah blah.
Lg said it should be a in my home repair, tech in the field says no way. So I send the tv with him cause I'm lame or whatever.
Says it'll be next week sometime. Maybe.
Put the tv in the mini van between the last row seat and the gate. Mother****er hands me my w/o slip gets in his wagon and proceeds to floor it.
Guess what happened??? That's right ****ing physics happened.

Dude doesn't even stop.

I want to kill Stan.

Called lg and they said if it comes back ****ed its the repair centers problem.

What would you do?

Samsung is a Korean company. They make the best TVs. I'm quite fond of their phones, too.

I'd take the time to dig a grave that would be visible from where he will park a d be cleaning my gun on the porch when he shows up.

Just for fun.

I'd play hide the sausage with the wife, that's what I would do.

My LG tv developed a vertical line. LG sent a tech out who swapped out the panel on my kitchen table, and hung it back on the wall. Tech told me to call LG any time I have a problem even if it's out of warranty because they'll likely fix it for no charge to me. A friend's three year old LG plasma went tits up, and I told him to call LG to see if they would fix, and sure enough they sent out a tech to fix it no charge to him. My repair was two years ago here in Texas, friends repair was earlier this year in Wichita, KS.

Sucks that you got a wack repair guy.

If it doesn't come back in perfect working order, quietly inform the repair guy you have a specific skills set that would allow you to hunt him and his whole family down.

Lg backs their tv products a little better than samsung, but if i were buying a tv those are the only two brands i would even consider.

I have bought Sony products fairly exclusively my whole life and haven't ever had one break. Not one. When i upgrade, i give the old ones to family members for spare rooms and kid stuff and tmk all of those are still working as well. If they decided to only offer a 1 day warranty on their products going forward, I'd still pay the premium for them because of that.

I have a Sony, Samsung, and LG. Really pleased with all of them.

of course....haven't had to deal with service yet. I do have an extended warranty on the LG that will expire next January; which I'll use because the pedestal thing the TV sits in isn't all the way seated; and the cheap ass screws are stripped. so, it doesn't sit 100% level.
