Heard last night it was just a bruise (or "contusion" if you want to use stupid trainer-speak). He probably COULD have played if really needed.

finally some good news, is Bubba tearing it up after the lasik? Didn't Myers have the same thing?

Hosmer had lasik after his first season as a pro, but I don't think Myers ever did.

I think Starling is 2-8 in the two games back with a 2B and a couple of RBI.

I'd put Shields in to hit for himself for the purposes of...

1: Screwing up the mind of the manager of the formerly NL (non-DH) Ass-tros, and..

2: Improving the chances of run support.

Myers didn't have a bad season in Wilmington. He had a bad year at NWA.

You're definitely thinking of Hosmer, who struggled in his first year at Wilmington.
