Where are the best seats in Arrowhead?

I know this is going to be very subjective so I will try to narrow it down quite a bit to start:

I am going to be traveling to my first Chiefs game at Arrowhead after 43 years as a fan. I'm thinking the home opener against the Cowboys or the Giants

I want to sit in the best seats available without my view being blocked by the players on the bench, too low to be able to see across the field, and not stuck behind any columns. I also don't want to sit in the end zone or nose bleed seats.

I only need a single ticket and right now there are several single tickets in Section 103 as low as row 7 and row 9 for $185.

All seats in Sections 116-122 are gone and I don't want to spend $300 for resale tickets at Stub Hub.

How low is good without your view being blocked?

Will I be sitting with all the Dallas or opponents fans sitting in this area?

I would love to party with a large group of CP'ers in the parking lot and I'll bring some booze!

Any advice greatly appreciated

The stadium will be 40% Dallas fans FYI.

Row 9 should be okay ish for a low seat but isn't 103 a corner spot...?

103 is between 20 and 30 yard line

I think there is even a few tickets in 101 for the Giants game, which is visitor side 50 yd line

I consistently hear the "best" seats are the lower rows in the upper deck behind the goal posts.

I had tickets for a year sort of high in the corner endzone and those were ok, but being lower and more towards the goal posts would have been better.

The best I've ever sat in were about 10 rows from the railing on the top level at about the 30 yard line. Those had a great view.

I've sat on the lower level behind the goal posts a couple times, and lower level corner endzone a ton. Those have the worst view IMO.

I sat three rows up from the end zone when the Chiefs played the Jets at Meadowlands the game Dennis Byrd got paralyzed. The seats were not bad for scoring drives but once a team crossed their own 40, the last 60 yds were impossible to see.

I like the "10 rows up" seat idea much better.

Thanks

Also, both of those games are in September. If you like shade, make sure you sit on the side behind the Chiefs bench. If you sit on the other side make sure you wear a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen.

In the December games, this is crucial, there is a 10 degree difference if you sit on the sunny side and it is very noticeable. For the September games it would obviously be the opposite.

Good advice!

Those little things help

Upper level, 50 yard line, first row. Best seats in the house.

As far as atmosphere, if we win at JAX in week 1, the home opener should be great. By week 4 we could be 1-2. Atmosphere wills still be good since it's early in the season, but 1-0 at home against the Cowboys should be a great time.

There will be plenty of Cowboys fans, but since it's so early, the 40% number is a bit high IMO. But there will be enough to quench your thirst with their tears.

After a win, walking down the spiral ramps, doing the chop. Wish I could go there for my first time again...you're lucky.

Lower level it's going to be a different experience from watching on TV. You'll be checking the jumbotron for replays a lot. That said, I love being down close. It's just a different viewing experience.

The first time I ever went to a pro game I had lower seats and you are so correct.

I just don't want to get stuck sitting in the center of a bunch of our opponents fans.

Was this the lowest level?

Clear view?

Able to see action across the field?

Do you remember what you paid for the tickets?

Thanks

Ive sat almost all places in the stadium and to me the best seat is in the first 5 rows anywhere in the upper section. Do not get end zone lower level seats, you cant see shit especially when they are on the other end of the field and have to watch the jumbo tron, you might as well save your money and watch it on tv for free.

It's not like college games where a particular section will be full of the opposing fans.

That being said, Cowboys games probably have more opposing fans show up than any other team KC plays. There will be a shitload of them everywhere.
