Good mechanic in Lawrence?

My son, who lives in Lawrence, needs someone to look at his vehicle that is leaking antifreeze. I have my go to mechanic in Topeka but I don't know anyone in Lawrence and with that issue I don't want him to have to drive far. He just needs a good mechanic that is honest and has fair prices.

Call Cody over at Free State Autoworks. They've always treated me right.

Leaking antifreeze? Did he crash it into an AIDS tree?

DeezNutz 08-05-2013 09:25 PM

He could always slide under it and open his mouth. Should solve the problem.

Go to repairpal.com and check prices, then go to O'reillly and do it yourself.

When in doubt, use duct tape.

Yeah, I looked at it yesterday. It appears to be coming from the back side. Could be water pump but hard to tel. I can do basic repairs but this looks like it is more than my skills allow.

See if you can get the car to Topeka. (AAA?) Go to Danny's Car Care on 7th and Gage.

Use JB Weld

Duane over at ATSI is also really good and he won't eff you over. I've also used Don's Auto Center a few times with good success

Back side of what?
What car, engine, are we talking about?

Sharp Automotive just north of the river on Maple has always been good to me. Shane is a great guy and knows his stuff.

When I lived in Lawrence, I used to go to Don's as well.
