HAVE to win this game tonight with BGJ on the mound. Hard to believe we are going to be able to get Verlander again, and we need to win a min of 2 of 3 this weekend to keep hope alive

This is why I don't like the unbalanced schedule. It doesn't matter for the division, but for Wild Cards, we'd argue that we had to face Detroit's lineup more often, and the Yankees and Orioles would argue that the AL East might be better top to bottom, but there'd be no question if we all played the same schedule. You can't do that in the NFL, but you could easily do it or come close in baseball.
