Coming to Phoenix
 

I've got to come to Phoenix in a couple of weeks for a conference. We're staying at the downtown Hyatt Regency. Any suggestions for eating and drinking nearby?

Oh hell yeah. That looks good.

Being that you are a beer guy, Angels trumpet downtown is a must visit. 40 (I think) taps. Sidebar at 7th Ave and McDowell is a cool spot for late night drinks. The lost leaf, The Duce And Hanny's are cool too and all downtown. There are a number of other good spots but further from downtown.

For food, St Francis is excellent but a little north of downtown. Tuck shop, also north of downtown is good comfort food.

It's top notch. Don't be alarmed if you see Charles Barkley there.
Hit the Barrio Cafe for some good Mexican...

And for some good beers, George& Dragon is a good spot...100 beers.

And if you want some lesbian diversity check out Ain't Nobody's Business.
Indian Fry House is a good shift.

Last one...Honeybears on Central is close to you, not bad bbq...
