Chiefs have 123m already on the books for 2014.

Cut Daniel and Robinson.

$126.3m? Jeezus, I had no idea it was that high. NFL teams are getting into BoSox and Yankee territory.

That's a total guess at this point.

These same guys, last year, said the cap would stay flat and that it would only be around 121-122 and its almost 124 this year.

Have they even negotiated the tv contracts to a final, yet?

Also, we are under the cap by 2.8 million currently and that should roll over as a credit next year.

That's without Tyson Jackson and Brandon Albert and it shows us at $122 million and some change.

looking at that there almost has to be an Alex Smith extension coming. 7.5 guaranteed, no dead money, would free up 7.5 if cut.

the only guy that really saves us any money is Dunta. We are going to cut Chase to free up 1.4 million? And then 2 million in dead money ontop of that? So 3 million to cut him? What is that free 1 million going to get us? Insert Jeremy Maclin joke here.

The Chiefs still have a few million left in cap space for this year, which they can and will carry over into 2014. Cutting Dunta will free up a few more.

Alex Smith is probably getting an extension in the offseason (barf), which could free up some additional space. From there, Bowe's contract has a lot of room for shifting.
