Spotify. Anyone subscribe?

Edit: ****, that was supposed to say Spotify. Auto correct hates me. I'm expecting zero from this thread now.

I'm loving the starred playlist feature, considering going to the paid version. Anyone have this? Pros, cons?
On my phone so apologize if there is a thread about this already...

I do. Use it in the car all the time. Once your playlists are downloaded you don't have to stream anymore, so data usage/connection has little bearing.

You can try it free for a month you know....

And it kicks ass.

I've been a Premium subscriber for a long time now - maybe 1.5 years? The benefits are obvious - you can listen to just about anything at any time. As hometeam mentioned, as long as your phone has a decent amount of space, you can cache all of your playlists offline, so you don't need to use the data connection (and you can if you want to listen to a song you don't have downloaded).

Cons are just that you're spending a monthly fee rather than buying new music with that money, so there's always the chance that you'll eventually change your mind and regret that you hadn't been buying music that whole time. There are also a handful of bands that aren't on there, and that's annoying. Other than that, I love it.

They finally got Metallica, but still no TOOL :/

I use Rhapsody.

Similar. Think it's $9.99 a month. I have no regrets. I stream from my phone or computer and listen to new releases the day they come out. You never own the music, but that doesn't matter to me.

It's really the equivalent of buying an album a month, and I use the hell out of it. Like others have said, there are some artists I can't listen to; which is a bummer. But I've found dozens of bands/albums I otherwise wouldn't have so we'll call it a wash.

Yes. I subscribe. Huge fan. I just feel bad because a lot of artists I respect really hate it and their payout method.

I subscribe and don't use it enough ....mainly at the gym and at night. I need to DL the playlist and listen at work. Its great though.

Thanks all, I'm subscribing. Appreciate whichever mod fixed my post fail too...

Cool idea. I'll have to try it out.
