NFL Concussions

This can leave no doubt that NFL sidelines and extra points are fixed.

Just goes to show how stupid the nfl concussion protocol is.

How is the league to blame if the player is the one who refused to follow protocol?

I can't judge if the protocol is good or bad, but from the article it seems players were at fault.

My guess is the reference to one of the players who just stayed on the sideline but did not reenter the game.

With it being a playoff game and all I can see a guy telling them to **** off I am not going to go sit in the locker room.

I assume the rule is there to prevent players from grabbing a helmet and going back out.

Some former nfl players were talking about it this morning saying that it's only in place to protect the nfl from lawsuits. They said the players associated really is beginning to hate the protocol because you start getting labeled as a problem once you get one concussion.

Seemed like he was saying that something in the story is proof that the NFL protocol itself is stupid. I don't really know if it is or isn't, but I don't know what part of that story would lead to that opinion.

Maybe the players association will propose the players waive all rights to sue later for head injuries in exchange for the NFL letting the player decide whether or not he is injured.

Think that will happen?

I don't know but one of the sports radio guy on nfl radio said that it was even more noticeable in the playoffs because cameras are everywhere. He thought we might see some big names get taken out of games this weekend.
