I've had mixed results with P. K. Dick.
I think Blade Runner was clearly a wonderful explosion of vision and cinematography that Dick wouldn't expect or really was capable of laying out.
His writing is difficult, at best, to take in. The Man In The High Castle I figured I'd love but it was a tedious bore to read. I felt like there was something I was missing and I needed to push on and then it was over.
And a TON of his works end this way. He's the ****ing Stephen King of Sci-fi...
