Three more Canadian talents to watch out for.
The Chiefs demonstrated with Weston Dressler that they watch and scout Canadian football.
The CFL just held their Combine, and while most of their players are nowhere near NFL caliber, there are three players that competed there that could end up late round picks. One is David Foucault of Montreal. 6'8", 320, and ran a 5.28 in the 40. 22 reps on the bench, so he will need to get stronger. He plays LT in the below clips. Look at him absolutely annihilate a few of his opponents. Pretty fun. <iframe width="420" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/UCIWIJrPtAQ" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> The two who are most likely to get drafted: Adam Thibault of Laval and Antoine Pruneau of Montreal. Thibault is an athlete -- he's played WR and S, will probably go undrafted but if a team figures out where they want him, he could stick: <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/41YtyQj83pc" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> Antoine Pruneau, I don't know anything about. He's 6'0" and runs a 4.4, and is listed as a DB. That's usually going to intrigue most teams. |
The UDFA pool this year is going to be ****ing insane.

Why would a team constantly try to find the next "Wes Welker?" He's an anomaly. An exception to the rule. Needle in a haystack approach. He was a slow, small white kid coming out of college. But, he ran great routes and had great hands. Hmm. Draft and look for guys that run great routes and have great hands, not guys that are 5'8-3/4" and are white.

Laurent Duvernay-Tardif will be scheduled to visit the chiefs.
Nine NFL teams watched Duvernay-Tardif at a private workout on Thursday and saw a 6-foot-5, 298-pound player turn in 40-yard dash times of 4.94 to 5.08 seconds, post 34 reps of 225 pounds on the bench press, turn in a 4.59-second shuttle time and broad jump 9 feet, 6 inches. when he was measured at the east-west shrine game he has 33" arms. A lot shorter than I would like |
