This is another case where I'll go against type. My votes:

#1 - Gladiator. Yes. Yes, I am entertained!

#2 - Monty Python and the Holy Grail. If it was the first time I was seeing this scene, it would probably get my vote. I hate to admit it, but since it's the 15,000th time I've seen it or heard it referenced, I've probably lost some appreciation for it. It's still a worthy #1 if it wins.

#3 - Spinal Tap. Fine scene, great concept. But if you want to move to Round 3, you need to turn it up to 11. Or now that I think about it, 12.

The Mony Python scene is essentially the gladiator scene with funny dialogue.

I'm going to play the Gladiator dialogue while watching the Monty Python scene. Let's see how it turns out.

Gladiator is the worst scene here by a mile. Why????????

I had to vote against Gladiator because the guys he killed were such bad fighters. They each stand and wait their turn; they take one clumsy swing; they freeze in place after their first attempt is blocked; they have no concept of combinations or feints and they don't react to him at all; they just, aaugh.

So, Monty Python. Of course!

I think it's rigged. The emperor knows that the people come out to see offense, and he's trying to appeal to the casual fans.
