Went under the knife again today

Heel spur surgery #2. Right foot.

Details in the spoiler for its gruesomeness.

Spoiler!

Short version. Heel bone pushing into my Achilles tendon

All fixed

No flexing, pressure or DRIVING for 6 weeks. Then limited movement and physical therapy.

I have a knee cart. I just started oxycontin to stop future pain. (Hate it with all my being) Waiting for the nerve block to wear off.

So This was the best time to do it. Summer vacation.
I also have a 15 year old that will get a lot of experience driving.

Yes, I had this done to the right foot two years ago and have put this one off because of time and family issues. It was time to get rid of the pain.

So, if I post anything weird, blame the oxycontin.

Damn dude. Hope it works out **** that. You should be posting this in the Nopitty Nope Nope thread.

Prayers and hope it heals (no pun intended).

Last time I was off it in three days. Had it with ACL too. HATE IT ALL.

I have a high pain tolerance that is why I have been able to put up with this for many years.

Ok, it is oxy codone. Got a chance to look on the way to the potty.

Three days won't be bad I guess. I needed it for two weeks. Did not shit for the first five days post-op.

That may be next for breathing.

But my wife is determined to get me away from MT. Dew first.
I love Mt. Dew
