In the old days CBs used to convert to safety and extend their careers a few years. I was hoping Flowers would do that actually. Does that happen anymore? I can't think of any.

But just last season knowmo told me he was better than any CB on our roster...

Devin McCourty but he's young. Charles Woodson, Malcolm Jenkins did it as well.

Bailey might be too old but Flowers would have been a perfect candidate. Maybe he'll flame out as a CB with SD and we'll get him back as a safety when we're ready to try to win again.

Aaron Williams from Buffalo also, although I think he only played corner his first year.

Most recent I can think of is Woodson in Oakland.

Assuming he'd sign for the vet min, why the hell not? If he sucks, drop him like he's Ed Reed.
