Chiefs & 1st/2nd rd QB's
Most SB winners develop their own QB!
Why haven't the Chiefs drafted a QB in the 1st or 2nd rd in forever? I mentioned this in another thread about Ford < bridgewater/Carr/Johnny (aggressive trade needed 4 manz) would be great for fans but smith is the teams go to guy after that trade. Guess it's a few more years before the Chiefs draft a QB high in the draft. Discuss. |
Fresh topic!

CoMo summed it up in another thread, but it's because of the owners. They're unwilling in investing so much of the cap and bonus money in one player.

But Alex Smith doesn't throw interceptions

Eric Fisher sucks

I don't understand what you are asking here. Why take a "quarterback" that high when he could fail? The safer move is to take linemen (either offensive or defensive - your choice!) and play them no matter how bad they suck. If the linemen end up being piss pots, you just cut them and try again! if the QB fails, well, that pisses off fans and puts your scouting/talent evaluation under a bright light, and no NFL team wants that.
Remember - shit ass linemen = GOOD, potential franchise QB's = risky/not worth it |

Wow. New material.
Can't wait to delve into this. No, I'd rather go feet first into a plastic shredder. |
