Some key injuries in the league this weekend got me thinking, which NFL-type injuries have you had? How did you get them? And how long did it take you to heal?

Just thought with injuries affecting all teams (especially ours this season) would be interesting to know what we've gone through ourselves.

Fell down the stairs at an LSU game.

Lots of broken vaginas around here

Dislocated my pinky finger on a bicycle "incident" a few weeks ago. Still hasn't fully healed but I've been playing through the pain.

Knocked my upper left front tooth out of my mouth in pre-season conditioning eleven years ago.

Also, I may or may not have had a minor concussion from getting punished in football practice.

I sprained my ankle wicked bad in high school playing volleyball, went up to spike and landed on another dude's foot. Rolled my ankle and it was the size of a grapefruit in no time.

also tore my meniscus. It was from carrying luggage up stairs on vacation. lol

Worst was my bicycle crash, the top ball of my humerus broke clean off and was wedged behind my shoulder blade. I have metal for life from that.

Also pulled groin and dislocated/broken finger from a different bike crash.

Pulled a hamstring triathlon training and that was probably the most annoying and took the longest to heal. I still feel like at any minute the hammy could just go.

two major ankle sprains, groin pull and turf toe.

I've had 9 in the list. I could add 5 or 6 that aren't listed. I didn't realize how beat to shit I am until now.

I had a collapsed lung..surgery to fix it was worst pain I have ever felt

Most of my injuries are either repetitive stress from wearing armor, or swordfighting-related injuries that don't translate very well to football talk. I also may very well have had ankle sprains and groin pulls and so on, but I don't remember specific cases.

Left leg: fracture, torn medial meniscus
Right leg: ACL, medial & lateral meniscus
Multiple Concussions
Seperated right shoulder
And I'm only 22

HS runningback, so yeah, I got pretty f***ed up.
