Honest Question on False Start
What the heck is the NFL's definition of a false start? I watch KC get called for bending his knee, yet Denver is allowed to turn their head and point at multiple defenders on the field and never called. What's allowed and what's considered a penalty?

You can do an Irish dance until you get set, after that you can't move.
|
False Start = Eric Fisher.

Denver changing a play is ok.
Any other team, it's a false start. Pay attention. |

Although, I don't know what get set means? 1 second? 2 seconds? More? |
Watch their deaf right guard. He's never set for a full second before the snap.

It's supposed to be one second. But their apparently deaf right guard is apparently exempt under some ADA law since he turns around before every snap. |
"It is a False Start if an interior lineman … takes or simulates a three-point stance, and then changes his position or moves the hand that is on the ground."
http://espn.go.com/blog/nflnation/po...he-false-start Explain how it's legal for their O-Line to be in a three point stance, then multiple linemen stand up to point at defenders. I see a hand on the ground, the rule defines that as a set stance. Color me stupid I guess..... |
Go back and watch the center for Seattle.
Dude was using the head bib as an offensive cadence. Offensive rules are a farce, anymore. Its bullshit. |
