Westboro Baptist is protesting outside of our local HS Friday
 

I have the day off and am considering getting involved in a counter protest. Has anybody else seen a WBC protest up close? What are some good sign ideas in response? I thought about handing out Book of Mormons as a sign of love and humility, but I doubt they would accept them.

From a hate perspective, Fred dying was the best thing that ever happened to them. As hateful as he was, this new Steve Drain guy is 10 times more vitriolic. He has a hot ass daughter though.

Apparently, Fred was excommunicated before he died because he was "sympathetic" towards the equality house built across from the church. That's right, they excommunicated the guy that founded the church because he wasn't hateful enough.

The funny thing about the protest this Friday is that nobody actually knows WHY they're coming to our town. Obviously it has something to do with homosexuality, but specifically we're all pretty confused.
