ESPN's new website design-what are your thoughts?
I'm trying to gauge what I really think of their total redesign. It is always difficult at first when a website you have used for many years makes a sudden and radical change. Navigation is initially a pain in the ass, things sometimes look odd, and generally you feel lost.
It certainly takes some getting used to but so far it's not too bad. What are your thoughts? :hmmm: |

I think you're too busy to be on the internet.

In terms of the NFL, ESPN is falling behind in its coverage. There are a thousand draft sites available, and they want to charge you for inside access for Kiper. Really?
Their NFL coverage has gone more toward TMZ coverage rather than real football coverage. Pretty much useless. The webpage is annoying. |
Obviously, this will turn into a bitch-fest about espn and all it's platforms.
So let me bitch about espn. Their website is, and has been, worthless to me. It's either insider info, or videos. I don't want to pay for insider when that info is easily found elsewhere, and i don't want to watch a video. i want to read an article. Quit making everything a ****ing video. |
I took ESPN out of my bookmarks around 2009. Their website, IMO, is worthless, especially compared to CBS Sports and Si.com.
|
I hate it, but I'm sure I'll come around to it eventually

I haven't watched espn or checked it's site in 5 years atleast.

If anything important happens it's usually posted here

Had to go see... yeah, its cleaner and more modern looking, still wont be going back there again.
All that greedy ass insider crap, and as Sully said, too many videos. |
I took a look as well. It's now similar to CBS Sports, which is my favorite and easiest to navigate, but like others have said, I won't be returning any time soon.
