Has the Offseason surpassed the real Season?
I can't recall a more enjoyable offseason of sports watching than this year.
Such incredible golf, excellent softball, baseball. Even the NBA is intriguing with a new team. I've thoroughly enjoyed the NCAA women's and men's golf championships. I watched every bit of it. The TPC was one of the best golf tournaments in a long time, going to a new playoff format. Golf in general after Tiger is so much better. Never know who will win. I saw so many of the softball games. Lotta fun. Some of those girls don't even look lesbian... And now the Gators men are kicking ass too. And of course it's wonderful to see the Royals doing so well. All in all, the variety of sports could have just trumped the #1 sport of football. Maybe. |
Glad for you, but I have been really bored with the offseason. Been enjoying the NBA playoffs.. but there's not much in sports that interests me outside of college and pro football.
August can not get here soon enough. :( |
What's so great about our offseason? If Maclin and a rookie (Peters) is the reason then we are truly pathetic

You really have to try hard at being this dense. |
Usually catch some lacrosse and some of the French Open around this time of year, but haven't tuned in at all... but, the hockey has been good and winning baseball is nice (even with the recent suck).

And if they're not close, you'll find some excuse to defend him. |

Went to the TPC again this year, had a great great time. Not even a huge golf fan, personally. NHL postseason was great. Chiefs seem to have had a great offseason. Royals entertaining again this year and the sky is the limit for them. It's a good time to be a sports fan.
