I've been running the preview builds since they've been available. The last one seemed real stable as it should since its about to be released. However, you have a full year to do the upgrade. I am planning to wait a month or so. Let it bake a little.

You can run our XBOX games on our PC. Hell yes I am getting it.

I'll probably do it just because its a free full version (for now at least) and it will be current which means I wont have to worry about the day Windows 7 is fully discontinued.

Win 10 will be the only platform capable of running dx12.

I have been beta testing 10 on my secondary rig and I have to say, its awesome. I have it set up UI just like win7, and the performance is much better.. there are some annoyances but you can turn them off and cuztomize it. You dont have to use stupid apps, metro UI, or any of the bullshit like win 8.

Dont be scared this time. They did something good.

The free upgrade offer lasts for a year after the release of Windows 10, btw. You don't have to do it immediately.

If you play games on your computer, then yes. DX12 will be windows 10 only. Dx12 will squeeze more gaming power out of your system.
