Evan Mathis?
I read that he's in talks with Miami...for $2 million a season. Can't they cut Fanaika without suffering much financial damage? He's practicing with the 3rd stringers..
If the guy is going to play for around 3 million a season...he's definitely worth it...not for the 6-8 million he was after though. |
If he would take a 1 year/3m contract, I'd bring him in quickly.
Even a 2 year deal with only the first year guaranteed would be ok....2/5 3guaranteed |
I've been wanting him in for ever !

Does he play tackle?
No? How about center? No? **** him, then. |
I would love to get the guy in Red.
|
No. Completely unnecessary.

It would be a waste of money and a waste of time, especially when there are guys currently on the roster ready to start. |

I'm sure Dorsey is going to do some dumpster diving in a few weeks.. |
If Reid isn't in on him right now, then that says something about what they think of Mathis and how they view this oline. I was very encouraged by their outing Saturday night. I know it's just one preseason game.

Don't we need a RT more?

But Fulton showed, while limited, he is solid and can get the job done. Then we have Laurent Daverny-Tardiff, who played both LG and RG, and was nothing short of impressive. He's starting at RG Friday, and if he plays nearly as impressive as he did on Saturday, he will lock down that spot, and Fulton will be a capable backup. |
