Thoughts? I would give this a 75% chance of us acquiring RG3 at some point, most likely in the offseason.

Let's face the music here guys. The Chiefs will win at least 6 games with this weak schedule left, we'll be out of the running for the top QB's, the Chiefs will never trade up for anybody (especially a QB), we'll draft some fat sumbitch OL like Ronnie Stanley and Andy will bring in RG3 bc he knows Alex has failed and he loves QB's with characteristics that RG3 has..

The long tradition of NOT drafting our own failure a QB with a 1st round pick and trading for other team's 1st round failure QBs continues...

It's like the Chiefs are that girl that always thinks that they can fix the loser guy.

Why would you trade for a QB who's going to be cut in the offseason? And take on that contract when you can have him for pennies as a F/A?

Doesn't make any sense. You're going to have to re-sign him after the season anyway, so why not just wait until the season is over and you don't have to compensate Washington?

I understand....but then you're also bidding against other teams. There are plenty of teams out there that need a QB and will overpay for one. If we brought in RG3 in a trade....I'd expect to sign him to a re-worked deal worth way less than he's getting paid.

I can totally see this happening. Andy wants to win now and knows Clark isn't wanting to rebuild going into year 4. RG3 gets released and we pick him up.

Andy has always loved mobile QB's. He's going to bring this ****er in and feed this bullshit that he can make him what he was as a rookie.
