Are You a Left Lane Dick ?

A general term for anyone found cruising in the passing (left) lane, holding up the normal flow of traffic.

kcjayhawks5 11-13-2015 05:58 AM

Can't stand them!

MIAdragon 11-13-2015 07:08 AM

One of the best parts of Europe, that rarely happens there.

jspchief 11-13-2015 07:09 AM

100% of Prius drivers do this. It's like those cars are incapable of driving in the right lane.

Al Bundy 11-13-2015 07:23 AM

No, but the main highway I take to work, you do have to get in the left lane and cruise to get to the exit. I hate it.

KCUnited 11-13-2015 07:27 AM

Equally as bad, but not shamed nearly enough, are far right lane drivers that aren't intending to exit. The ripple effect of them hitting their brakes to accommodate cars merging onto the highway is felt by everyone.

This thread has been done multiple times. There are a couple dumbasses here that believe driving in the left lane is fine as long as they're going the speed limit because "they shouldn't have to move so people can break the law".

I used to pass these idiots while I would be in the right lane. And my truck was governed at 62MPH.

And the thing with idiots like this is they don't realize the roads would be so much better with courteous drivers rather than law abiding drivers.

Unfortunately this is my mrs, she's gotten better as I've told her it's simply the rules of the road.I rarely let her drive if we're together unless it's a long ass roadtrip.

Are you a whiny b*tch who can't use other lanes and let the non aggressive actions of other drivers dictate your mood? If so, you should quit being a little b*tch.

Same here. My wife will get out there and cruise along until I tell here to get in the right lane. Her response? "There's no one behind me! If someone eventually gets behind me, I'll move!"

That being said, I never just cruise in the left lane. If I catch myself, I move. Unless I see someone behind me losing their sh*t. Then I slow down and watch them for my own entertainment.

I want to drive around Europe one day, but I may never come back.... more than 2 lanes of highway outside of the city, drivers that are good enough to even handle roads without speed limits, far fewer dumbshits who aren't capable of understanding how much better traffic would be with simple concepts like fast lanes and the zipper effect....

Sully 11-13-2015 08:31 AM

I'm passing. I just may not be passing as fast as you intend to pass.
