Tonight we closed out and witnessed the passing of the torch in Denver
I know, I know, I know this is nearly a duplicate thread to Mr Flopnuts but he is thinking short term and I am looking at history.
Today is the day that Peyton Manning softly retires on the sideline and we sealed the deal even though he got his record. He is done! We finally have a win against Mr Ten Head after all these years!:clap: |
I'm worried that he's not done. He'll **** us one last time by coming back just long enough for us to not be able to say we ended his career.

I think I remember a lot of this same talk last year when we thrashed NE. Seemed to work out in their favor. Dude was having a BAD game, he's old and they don't want him injured. Benching him was a smart move, but not sure if his playing dud are done. Assweiler came in and made some plays in garbage time against our backup corners. I'm glad we got the win, but idk about passing of the torch.

After today it wouldn't surprise me if he never plays four full quarters again.
|
He still needs another win for another record. He will play at least that.

Tonight Manning finished the game with the rare Blutarsky!

I feel we pretty much got the last laugh.
He has owned us, but we won [what I hope] is the last game against him, in Denver, on the night he broke an NFL record. ....let the taste of that linger in your mouth for your lifetime. [No Homo] |
